This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, pull an official record, release a person, or post bond. Contact the government office that holds the record for those services.

Choose the Record Custodian

The Prentiss County Sheriff's Office handles jail custody and its jail docket. Use the direct jail line for an immediate custody question, then ask which secure written channel the records custodian prefers. The sheriff's web form is not watched continuously and warns against sending sensitive identifiers through unencrypted email.

  • For a released person or jail-docket entry, use the full search and request steps on the home page.
  • For post-release supervision, use MDOC Parolee Search and the Prentiss Probation & Parole Office at 106 Pine Hill Road, 662-728-4843.
  • For a time-bounded county release check, follow the 24-hour release-list fallback and ask for an existing docket interval.
  • For a state release date or alert, use MDOC's official search and Mississippi SAVIN through VINELink.
  • For court authority, contact the Circuit Clerk at 101A N. Main Street, 662-728-4611, or Justice Court at 1901C East Chambers Drive, 662-728-8696.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, contact MDOC Records at P.O. Box 24388, Jackson, MS 39225, or 601-933-2889.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator that matches the case.

Formal MDOC release, custody-history, time-sheet, or discharge requests use the state records route. The Records Department answers sentence-time and eligibility questions, while the central Public Records Officer administers the public request process.
